The Philadelphia office of Fisher Phillips seeks an associate with 5+ years of litigation experience to work with its team focused on restrictive covenant and trade secrets matters on a national basis. This is a partner-track position working with a team of 10+ partners and associates in Philadelphia who focus their practice on restrictive covenant and trade secrets work. The successful candidate will become part of the Fisher Phillips firm-wide practice group focusing on such matters, providing opportunities for mentoring from a diverse group of more senior practitioners, both in Philadelphia and in other offices throughout the firm. This is an opportunity to join a growing team providing national and local brand companies in a wide array of industry sectors, including financial services, med device, pharma, active-wear apparel, life sciences, applied materials, insurance brokerage, premises security and automation, PEO and staffing, health insurers and TPAs. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background and a desire to develop a practice niche, growing a career in a firm recognized by Changers, Best Lawyers and BTI for employment law and client service, which has earned Mansfield Rule 4.0 Plus Certification for successfully broadening our pipeline of diverse lawyers and surpassing 30% diverse lawyers in leadership roles, and which earned a "100% Corporate Equality Index" from the Human Rights Campaign as on of the "Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality".
Experience with restrictive covenants or trade secrets litigation is a plus, but not essential. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects. Must be admitted in Pennsylvania.
