Handle the day-to-day management of a docket of cases
Advise employer clients on human resources issues
Conduct investigations of discrimination/harassment claims
Draft position statements in EEOC and NYDHR proceedings
Draft legal pleadings and motions
Manage discovery process, including drafting and responding to written discovery requests and related motion practice
Attend court conferences
conduct/defend depositions
Draft and review employment agreements, severance agreements, and restrictive covenants
Draft and review employee handbooks
Requirements
2+ years of litigation and relevant experience
Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
New York State Bar admission (mandatory) and admission to the SDNY and EDNY courts (preferred)
